Kalaignar told Vaiko that your party will be DMK after me?.
At Annadurai's 102nd birth anniversary conference in Kancheepuram on 15-9-2010, the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam has demanded that the Constitution be re-examined and amended suitably to ensure a true federal system in the country so that States enjoy autonomy in internal affairs.
The MDMK general secretary Vaiko launched a scathing attack on the DMK-led government which he said was unable to control the spiraling prices of essential commodities. He also blamed Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi for the deteriorating law and order.
Addressing a public meeting at Kancheepuram , Mr. Vaiko said, “Democracy is in peril in Tamil Nadu. Attempts are being made to stifle the voice of people and even the media.”
Mr. Vaiko warned that his party cadres had the strength to hit back against the excesses and atrocities of the State Government but they were exercising restraint.
Former State Minister and AIADMK MLA, D. Jayakumar and MDMK propaganda secretary, Nanjil Sampath spoke at the Meeting.
We are telling the news as it is from “Junior Vikatan” issue dated 22-9-2010.
