Whether Maran received indirect stakes from AIRCEL?
AFTER A RAJA former DMK Minister, the CBI’s next target in the 2G spectrum scam is Dayanidhi Maran the present Minister. Perhaps the youngest minister at 38, he served as telecom minister in UPA-1 from May 2004 to May 2007. He fell out of favour with his grand uncle, DMK supremo M Karunanidhi, but returned in 2009 as textiles minister in UPA-2. The CBI suspects he has indirect stakes in Aircel, which he allegedly promoted during his stint as telecom minister.
A CBI source told TEHELKA that there is a watertight case against Raja and DB Group MD Shahid Balwa. “We have tracked 2G spectrum money worth Rs. 200 crore, which was transferred from DB Group to DMK’s Kalaignar TV,” said a source. “We are only waiting for a reply to our letter rogatory (LR) sent to Mauritius about a month ago.” This query is about Mauritius- based Delphi Investments, which has stakes in Swan Telecom. The reply will only throw up names of some more beneficiaries in the scam. The puzzle about Unitech’s role is also more or less solved. The CBI will next investigate the allocation of spectrum during Maran’s stint.
JUSTICE PATIL’S report has also faulted Maran’s functioning. Recounting procedural lapses, the report says that Maran did not consult the Telecom Commission, the telecom department’s decision-making body, and ignored the Group of Ministers (GOM) while taking crucial policy decisions.
Intrigued by all this, the CBI is likely to summon Sivasankaran, Dr Reddy and Maxis Communications owners for questioning. The CBI is in the process of sending an LR to Malaysia to ascertain details of Maxis’ ownership, the sources say, while adding that Maran will also be questioned.
In his asset declaration for 2009-10, Maran did not appear to be particularly well-heeled, declaring only Rs.6.87 crore. He also owns a Mercedes valued at Rs. 8.10 lakh and a Toyata Innova at Rs. 12.24 lakh. His successor Raja appears to be even worse off, with assets of only Rs. 1.95 crore in 2009-10. The CBI has tracked Raja’s hidden money. Now it’s the turn of Maran.
Union textiles minister Dayanidhi Maran on Tuesday issued a legal notice to Tehelka magazine calling its report — that he had deliberately delayed clearing application for licenses of certain telecom companies in 2006 —a blatant and concocted lie. Maran, a grand nephew of former Tamil Nadu CM and DMK supremo M Karunanidhi, accused Tehelka of pursuing a jaundiced form of investigative journalism. According to the Tehelka report, Maran’s decision pressurized the telecom firm Aircel to strike a deal with Maxis. Tehelka said in a statement that it was yet to receive the notice. “We are told that Dayanidhi Maran has sent us a notice but we haven’t received it yet.
What Tehelka going to reply? we have to wait and see.

Hindu Gods idols were ransacked and buried under Masjid steps by Moghal Rulers. S.V.Ramani in “Raj TV”
“Engal Baratham” editor S.V.Ramani during his interview in “Raj Tv” News channel on 15-5-2011 has explained about Indian Culture, and told during the invasion of Afghan emperors, the Hindu Temples in India were ransacked and the God ideals were buried under the steps of Masjids in Delhi.
The Moghal King Aurangazeb provoked by the Hindus of Banares he destroyed their temple of Vishnu and then razed to the ground a shrine at Mathura an on its site built a mosque. He had the idols brought to Agra, where they were buried under the steps of a mosque, so that Muslims might feel they were trampling them under foot. S.V.Ramani asked why in the name of Jihad the Islam people are having so much vengeance on others.
Ramani told that sages and poets in India have only preached the sense of unity love and moral habits as Indian culture. S.V. Ramani explained India has been a cultural unit on account of all-embracing religions; People of India have developed a peculiar type of culture and civilization, totally from any other type in the world. That civilization is called Indian culture. He also told that parents must cultivate good habits for their children from their young age, so that the western culture will not affect them.

Kanimozhi Advocate shifts blame on Raja
Kanimozhi Advocate shifts blame on Raja
Faced with the prospect of being jailed for alleged complicity in the 2G spectrum allocation scam, Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi’s daughter Kanimozhi sought to distance herself from the main accused, former telecom minister A Raja, as evident on Friday[6-5-2011].
Arguing why she should not be jailed, Kanimozhi’s counsel Ram Jethmalani sharply differentiated her from Raja, maintaining that she was not party to the transfer of Rs 200 crore that the DMK-controlled Kalaignar TV got from DB Group, allegedly in return for the licence allotted to Swan Telecom. “Let us assume that at his instance (Raja’s), Rs 200 crore was routed to the TV channel. What is the offence committed by me? I am only a shareholder,” the veteran lawyer argued on behalf of Kanimozhi. “It is A Raja who could be accused of conspiracy, not Kanimozhi,” Jethmalani said.
He qualified his argument by emphasizing that he was quoting the CBI on the fund transfer, and he did not want to prejudice the case of other accused. But the argument clearly was that while others could be guilty, Kanmozhi wasn’t.
“I do not suggest that everybody is innocent in this case. But so far as I am concerned, I was not handling the day-to-day affairs of the company, which have been mentioned in the chargesheet,” Jethmalani said as he sought to disentangle his client from Raja as well as Kalaignar TV’s managing director Sharad Kumar.
On November 14 2010, when Raja was pressured to resign as telecom minister, Karunanidhi hailed him as "one who would always retained the party's confidence". The DMK supreme went on to add that "Raja had discharged his duties with honesty, fairness and sense of duty". But that was before his own daughter was indicted in the scam. Now A.Raja becomes the victim for the sake of kanimozhi.
On 7-5-2011 The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has opposed Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam (DMK) MP Kanimozhi's bail plea, claiming that she is the controlling mind behind Kalaignar TV. The CBI also pleaded in the court to send Kanimozhi and Kalaignar TV CEO Sharad Kumar to judicial custody.
After a long argument by Special Public Prosecutor UU Lalit, who appeared for the CBI, Judge OP Saini reserved the hearing on bail plea of Kanimozhi and others till May 14. The court also asked Kanimozhi and Sharad Kumar to appear before the court daily till May 14.
However, Vijay Agarwal, lawyer for co-accused Asif Balwa and Rajeev Agarwal, said that the CBI was adopting a "hostile" attitude against his clients while not arresting Kanimozhi and Sharad Kumar who had allegedly received bribes. We have to wait and see what the justice going to do?

Karunanidhi may now remember who are the Duriodhana and Dutchadhanas in1989?
Karunanidhi may now remember who are the Duriodhana and Dutchadhanas in1989?
The DMK high level committee meeting on 26-4-2011 over Kanimozhi being charged in the 2G spectrum scam, but the resolution adopted by the party gave no indication of any ferment. Dismissing the inclusion of Kanimozhi in the charge sheet as a political move to defame the DMK and unseat the chief minister, the meeting resolved to take recourse to legal means.
A suggestion by a member to break ties with the Congress was ignored by the DMK patriarch who had initially showed signs of anguish and anger over the inability of the ruling Congress at the Centre to prevent Kanimozhi’s indictment. Even when he was quizzed by the media later on the CBI’s controversial handling of the Bofors gun scandal, Karunanidhi could not be provoked into making any outburst. Instead, the DMK’s resolution at the meeting blamed the media and ‘certain political parties’ for trying to break the alliance with the Congress.
Karunanidhi’s sons MK Alagiri and MK Stalin are understood to have advised him to approach the issue practically so as not to jeopardize the future of the party or his daughter. DMK sources said committee member AL Subramanian advocated a resolution empowering Karunanidhi and party general secretary K Anbazhagan to decide on continuance of alliance with the Congress.
However, Karunanidhi felt that such a resolution would backfire should it come to power. Besides, it was important to get moral support from its ally. Karunanidhi still looks up to Congress leader Sonia Gandhi as a “Thiyaga Thiruvilaku”, a saviour and light of sacrifice. The resolution finally adopted at the meeting questioned the very basis of estimation of the loss to the national exchequer due to the spectrum allocation and expressed surprise at how Kanimozhi and Kalaignar TV managing director Sharad Kumar had been implicated even though the Rs 200 crore lent to the channel had been repaid with interest .
We want to bring it to the notice of Karunanidhi that how Jayalalitha was targeted for nothing during 1989. During the budget session of the assembly in 1989 as an opposition leader, Jayalalitha said Karunanidhi had no moral right to be CM. All hell broke loose and she was manhandled, with some DMK members allegedly trying to pull at her Sari. There are photographs of her with disheveled hair and tears in her eyes. That day, she must have sworn revenge, like Draupadi, resolving that she would re-enter the assembly only as chief minister. This incident is the root cause of her hatred for Karunanidhi.
The DMK took the unthinkable decision of joining the BJP, a Hindutva party, mainly to checkmate Jayalalitha. After she had faced humiliation in the assembly, during the next election in 1991, she told people that Karunanidhi was a Duryodhana and there was a Dusshasana among the legislators who had tried to disrobe her. The electorate responded by giving her thumping majority to Jayalalitha. Karunanidhi may now remember who are the Duriodhana and the dutchadhanas?

Arignar Anna agitated against Periyar”s mismatched marriage.
Arignar Anna agitated against Periyar”s mismatched marriage.
When Periyar married Maniammai, who was more than 40years younger than him, the personal differences between Annadurai and Periyar split their supporters. Periyar’s mismatched marriage in 1949 with the young lady provided the pretext for the birth of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.
During this period C.N. Annadurai has written an essay on 3-7-1949 in his magazine “Dravida Nadu” about Periyar mismatched marriage and told that because of his marriage he and thousands of supporters of Periyar were ashamed to stand before other people telling that they are his followers. Kaveri Ramani telling thro “You Tube” what Anna actually written in his “Dravida Nadu” Magazine on 3-7-1949.

Do you remember Kalaignar Karunanidhi and his family? இவர்களைத் தெரிகிறதா உங்களுக்கு?
DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi doesn’t have any immoveable property, not even a car, but along with two wives owns moveable assets worth Rs.. 41.13 crore, as per his election affidavit.
Karunanidhi has moveable assets of around Rs. 4.93 crore as bank deposits and cash on hand, the affidavit filed by him while submitting his nomination for Thiruvarur assembly seat for the April 13 polls on March 24.
Karunanidhi has declared moveable assets of Rs. 15.34 crore for his first wife, Dayalu Ammal, and Rs. 20.83 crore for his second wife Rajathi Ammal.
Dayalu Ammal has a share of Rs. 6 crore in Kalaignar TV, while Rajathi Ammal has a share of Rs. 2.5 crore in West Gate Logistics Pvt. Ltd., and other investment in business to the tune of Rs. 2.57 crore.
Due to Karunanidhi and DMK Ministers unaccounted huge wealth; the money is being distributed for the voters in the election in several ways. The rulers are not having any morality to win the elections by telling the people the schemes what they have done to them. Candidates are also using promissory notes and couriers to vote and to evade EC
Chief electoral officer Praveen Kumar said it was like a cat and mouse game. “The parties are more in number and they have many chips to play. Money distribution has not reduced this time, it has only gone underground. We have received complaints of parties recharging people’s cell phones by bribe and giving them discount coupons that can be redeemed.
You can see Karunanidhi along with his other wealthy family member’s thro’ the Video. Thanks to Jaya TV.
