Agitation against Nithyananda arrival at Tiruvannamalai.

Agitation against Nithyananda arrival at Tiruvannamalai.

Nithyananda 34th Birthday was celebrated at his Ashramam at Tiruvannamalai on 29-12-2010. Indian women’s organization, Indian Youth Democratic Federation and Progressive writers Association agitated his arrival at Tiruvannamalai and raised slogan against him.

Saint Nityananda’s episode has already been unveiled by Sun Tv in its video broad cast on 2-3-2010.. As Nityananda, a saint’s pervert activities have been caught up in the camera, the time he was indulged in sexual activities with some actress.

Sun TV has broad castled thro’ a video clip on 2-3-2010 which opened the ugly face of the Nityananda with a film actress, and every half an hour this was broad castled by Sun TV throughout the world and being guilty Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam never have guts to come forward to stop the action of Sun TV.

Swami Nithyananda, arrested for rape and other criminal charges, got bail on Friday [11-6-2010]. The Karnataka High Court granted conditional bail to him and his close disciple Swami Bhaktananda. Justice Subhash B Adi while allowing the two bail petitions filed by Nithyananda has asked him to furnish a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh and two local sureties. Not just that. The court laid down several other conditions — that Nithyananda should not leave the place without the permission of jurisdictional court and mark his attendance once in every 15 days at the jurisdictional police station. “He should not indulge in any teachings or preaching except yoga. A spiritual head should be free from all attachments and denounce world. However, it is not for this court to dwell on that issue. The public is already sensitized by media in this regard. Affecting and hurting religious feelings is more serious than a stab injury. “Actress Ranjtha, the woman in the CD, has so far not been questioned as she is in the US. The video footage showing arrested self-styled godman Nithyananda Swami in a compromising position with a Tamil actress is “genuine”, a top CID official said Thursday. “The video footage is genuine. It is untampered and there is no indication of alteration in the video. As far as image comparison is concerned, that is still to be done,”

CID’s Deputy IGP Charan Reddy said. The CD was sent to Central Forensic Science Laboratory Hyderabad for analysis where it was found to be authentic, he said.

We are also reminding Nithyananda that as per Court verdict, he should not indulge in any preaching or teaching except Yoga. He must also repent for his past sinful activities and take forgiveness for his sins from God and then only he will attain peace of mind.

Jayalalithaa said, “Karunanidhi has brought shame to Tamils at a global level.”

Jayalalithaa said, “Karunanidhi has brought shame to Tamils at a global level.”

The 23rd death anniversary of matinee idol and AIADMK founder M G Ramachandran was celebrated by AIADMK Party. Buoyant AIADMK partymen besieged the picturesque Marina beach in Chennai on Friday [24-12-2010] morning to pay tributes at MGR’s memorial along with their leader, J Jayalalithaa, bringing traffic on the Beach Road to a standstill for a few hours. With the assembly elections slated for May next year, the death anniversary this year was held on a special note with enthusiastic cadres shouting slogans hailing MGR and Jayalalithaa.

The spectrum controversy and the questioning of former Union minister A Raja by CBI have come as a major morale boost for the party, out of power for the last five years. The mood along the Marina was one of celebration as cadres came in hordes, not just from Chennai but from many parts of the state. Elsewhere in the state too, partymen organised functions to mark the anniversary, garlanding portraits and statues of MGR as popular songs from his films provided the background score.

Virtually kicking off her election campaign from her mentor’s memorial, Jayalalithaa urged party workers to work hard towards bringing the party back to power and “explain to the people the scams dogging the DMK government”. Even some of the senior leaders, who had been distanced from the party and its leadership, attended the function.

Normally, Jayalalithaa, accompanied by her party seniors, would spend about 15 minutes to pay her respects at the memorial. “This time she was there for 45 minutes,” observed a senior party leader. Murugan, a party cadre, said Jayalalithaa even retraced the party’s history and how MGR had nominated her as a party propaganda secretary while addressing cadres in an impromptu speech. “She explained why it was important to defeat the DMK, which will prove a major boost for party workers,” Murugan said.

Later speaking to reporters, a beaming Jayalalithaa, apparently happy with the huge turnout of cadres, said, “Even international journals like the Washington Post, New York Times and the BBC find it hard to believe that corruption to the tune of Rs 1.76 crore had been allowed to take place without anybody trying to prevent it.” Urging the people to teach the DMK a lesson in the forthcoming assembly election, she said, “Karunanidhi has brought shame to Tamils at a global level. People should teach the DMK a lesson in the forthcoming election and forever prevent the party from coming to power.”

The AIADMK partymen later took a pledge at the memorial to follow MGR’s ideals and work hard towards bringing the party back to power in the state.

Let us wait and see who the winner in the next election is. You can view the scenes of Jayalalitha paying tributes to MGR memorial thro “You Tube”.

Karunanidhi says no scam in 2G and Rahul says TN will get Cong CM.

Karunanidhi says no scam in 2G and Rahul says TN will get Cong CM.

DMK president M Karunanidhi exhorted his party workers to take the message to the people that there had been no scam in the telecom sector as alleged by the opposition and the media.

There seems to be a sudden swing in the mood within the DMK. From clamouring for action, including temporary suspension of A Raja, caught in the 2G spectrum allocation scandal, party leaders are now rallying behind the former Union telecom minister in a bid to put up a strong defence for him and an united front in the runup to a crucial state election.

“With four months to go for assembly elections, the DMK leadership realises that disunity within the party could prove detrimental to our prospects. And, any demand for action against Raja could also indicate that sections think he is guilty,” pointed out a senior DMK leader.

Party sources said Raja met senior MPs from the party on Monday night at Anna Arivalayam, the DMK headquarters, to explain to them about various aspects of the spectrum issue, including allegations on estimated loss to the government exchequer. A group of MPs in turn explained to the DMK supremo that they had “verified Raja’s explanation with documents”.

Meanwhile, Raja leaves for New Delhi by a flight at 5pm on23-12-2010 Thursday. He is expected to appear before the CBI on Friday at 11am.

Kicking off his TN itinerary with an address to the party’s youth leaders at Vanagaram, a Chennai suburb, the young Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was more combative this time. “I assure you, in the coming future, the CM of Tamil Nadu will be one among the members of the Youth Congress,”’ he said to loud clapping and cheers.

After touching down at a helipad in Vanagaram around 11amon 22-12-2010, Rahul walked into the fortified venue, a marriage hall. The cadres cheered lustily when he said, “This battle to build the future of the Congress won’t be easy. Building the party, which has been out of power for 40 years, is going to take time. We should be prepared to work, especially at the grassroots.”

He expressed happiness at the “energy” he saw among Youth Congress members and said, “Youth power will play a role not only at the panchayat, but in the assembly and Lok Sabha elections as well. We need many of you at the national level.” Earlier Congress wasn’t very particular about giving importance to the youth, he said. “Now, the situation has changed. Today’s panchayat-level leaders are the future of the Congress party,” Rahul said.

Tamil Nadu People have to wait and see whichParty with ethical code of conduct will form the Government in Tamil Nadu in the next election.

Minister Raja and Salesman Batcha.

Minister Raja and Salesman Batcha.

More than a year after CBI filed an FIR into the 2G scam, the CBI on 8-12-2010 carried out raids on several premises, including that of disgraced former minister A Raja and officials who played pivotal roles in the haphazard allocation of spectrum in 2008.

Premises of Sadhick Batcha, a Chennai-based businessman and associate of Raja, also figured among those whose premises were raided and who were questioned by the CBI later. Raja’s wife, Parmeshwari, was among the directors of Green House Promoters, a Batcha-owned firm, from 2007. The Chennai-based businessman is suspected of having handled part of the alleged 2G scam money.

Driven by poverty, AM Sadhick Batcha migrated to Perambalur about 20 years ago from his native Pallapatti village in Salem district. Little would he have imagined then that this would be the beginning of a meteoric rise. In roughly two decades, Batcha has gone from being an itinerant salesman to become the managing director of a real estate firm, thanks in no small measure to his links with the erstwhile telecom minister A Raja.

Batcha’s origins were clearly humble. He started out by selling sarees and dress material on an instalment basis to low-income groups. He would go around on a bicycle, collecting instalments of Rs 10-15 per month from each customer. He later ventured into selling electronic goods like radio and tape recorders, again on instalment.

It took him five more years to graduate into the realty business, though in a modest way. It was an association with former deputy speaker Varahur Arunachalam of AIADMK that changed the course of his life. It began with him doing errands for Arunachalam. Soon, Arunachalam introduced him to Raja, an advocate trying to make his name in the DMK.

Batcha soon expanded his real estate empire to Dindigul and Karur districts. He already had a company – Sadhick Batcha Real Estates —; he subsequently started another named Green House Promoters in 2004 after Raja became Union minister for environment; his mentor’s family too joined him in the business. Batcha reportedly played a major role in organizing several hundred acres of land for a private firm to shift its operations from Chennai to Perambalur.

Batcha had roped in Raja’s wife MA Parameswari on the board of Green House as a director. Others on the board are Raja’s nephew RP Paramesh Kumar, who is also joint MD of the firm, and Raja’s brother A Kaliaperumal. Another realty firm, Equaas Estates Pvt Ltd, was also floated, again involving many of Raja’s relatives. Batcha floated another company in Singapore to facilitate FDI inflow into his company. But the Singapore firm landed in trouble after central agencies noticed violations of the Foreign Exchange Management Act.

In all, 14 locations in Delhi and Chennai were raided, with dozens of CBI officials drafted for the exercise — the first visible step in unearthing the criminal conspiracy behind the spectrum allocation that has resulted in losses in the range of Rs 1.76 lakh crore to the exchequer.

God only knows where the 2G spectrum booty has been hidden?

Whether Raja supported anticipatory bail for culptits?

Whether Raja supported anticipatory bail for culptits?

V Jayaraman, data entry operator in Pondicherry University, who complained about a marksheet scam, found murdered. About 300 marksheets of engineering & medical students allegedly altered by varsity staff

Student Kripa Sridhar and his doctor-father C Krishnamurthy named among accused by CBI in marksheet scam. They go absconding, file anticipatory bail plea in Madras HC

RK Chandramohen, chairman of Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, meets Justice R Regupathi in his chambers and says then Union minister A Raja wants favourable order for the father-son duo as they were ‘family friends’. Lawyer gives mobile phone to judge saying Raja is on the line, wants to speak. Judge refuses to take the call

Chandramohen has argument with Justice Regupathi in court after the latter says he is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail. Furious judge says in open court that Chandramohen had approached him on behalf of a union minister. Judge threatens to take up the matter with President, Prime Minister
Justice Regupathi writes to then Madras HC Chief Justice H L Gokhale, narrating the entire incident. The letter mentions Raja’s name. Then CJI K G Balakrishnan tells TOI that in Regupathi’s letter there is no mention of a minister speaking to the judge

A week after the controversy, a HC bench orders a CBI probe into the murder of Jayaraman, who exposed the marksheet scam

Advocate G Rajendran, citing media reports, files a writ petition seeking direction to Bar Council to take action against Chandramohen and to allow access to the letter written by Justice Regupathi. Petition sent to a division bench on August 27, 2009

Nearly 18 months after a sitting judge of the Madras high court stunned the nation by revealing that a Union minister tried to contact him through the chairman of the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu (BCT) for a favourable order, a division bench has now stripped the chairman of his post and made it known that the minister involved was A Raja.

Lambasting bar council chief R K Chandramohen on Tuesday [7-12-2010], a division bench, comprising Justices F M Ibrahim Kalifulla and M M Sundresh, said he should be suspended from the post immediately and the Bar Council of India should initiate disciplinary action against him.

Former Minister Raja said on [7-12-2010] Tuesday that the allegations were “a bit worrying”, but he was confident of being able to prove that he was not guilty of any wrongdoing.

Kalaignar Karunanidhi 26 Cr assets in 2006, now it comes down to 6 Cr?

Kalaignar Karunanidhi 26 Cr assets in 2006, now it comes down to 6 Cr?

Tamil Nadu chief minister and DMK president M Karunanidhi on 1-12-2010 in a statement, he claimed his total assets amounted to only 6.01 crore, which included 5.66 crore in fixed deposits and 35 lakh of deposits in savings bank accounts.

He said he had received 100 crore by selling his equity in Sun TV in October 2005 when his grand nephews Kalanithi and Dayanidhi Maran expressed their desire to fully own the company, but chose to distribute much of the post tax receipts of 77.5 crore among his children and kept only 10 crore for himself.
Out of that, 5 crore was donated to the Kalaignar Karunanidhi Trust. The balance, along with the accrued interest, was the only savings he had in his life, he said.

But Kaunanidhi had declared total assets worth 26 crore while filing his nomination papers for the 2006 assembly elections. As the law requires that candidates should also include wealth in the names of their spouses, he had then included details of fixed deposits and bank accounts in the name of Dayalu and Rajathi, totally amounting to about 18 crore. [Total assets 44 Cr]

His elder son and Union chemicals and fertiliser minister M K Alagiri was worth 13 crore in 2009, covering both immovable and moveable property.
Younger son and Tamil Nadu deputy chief minister M K Stalin’s assets were
worth 13.61 crore in 2004 and sister Kanimozhi had assets worth 8.45 crore when she filed her nomination for the Rajya Sabha elections in 2007. Karunanidhis another daughter Selvi never declared her assets because she never filed any nomination for the elections.

Kalaignar also told that he was the only Chief Minister living in the street house.
To our remembrance Rajaji lived in a house in the Buzzullah street, T,Nagar and Kamaraj, Bakthavathchalam and Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi were living in others houses. Moreover to our knowledge that no previous chief minister’s sons were crorepathis in Tamil Nadu. The freedom fighters who have fought for the India’s Independence now eagerly standing in the queue for their monthly pensions.

Any how we appreciate Karunanidhi’s tireless service to his party and it is our wish that all people must follow the foot step of Kalaignar and work hard and come up in their carrier as Crorepathis.

Kindly hear the speeches of former Congress leader Dindivanam Ramamurthy thro; “You Tube”. Thanks to “Jaya TV”.
